MISSION

Contemporary Showcase is devoted to the learning and performance of Canadian classical compositions.​
Contemporary Showcase is non-competitive, focused on encouraging students, teachers, and our community to engage with contemporary composition styles.​
We strive to connect students to our living musical heritage.

CONTEMPORARY SHOWCASE CALGARY

Each November, CS-Calgary offers a series of non-competitive, masterclass-format classes, adjudicated by some of Canada's most talented music educators. In addition to piano, voice, strings, guitar, and composition, we are open to many musical disciplines.

Alliance for Canadian New Music Projects (ACNMP) is an organization which supports the work of Canadian composers. Contemporary Showcase Centres all across Canada are an ACNMP initiative to support the performance of Canadian contemporary music.
